Healthly Back to Healthly

Privacy, in plain words.

Healthly keeps your family's health records so it can explain them and remind you. You decide which family members see them, you can delete everything whenever you ask, and this page says in plain words how they are used.

What Healthly keeps

  • Your phone number and name, so Healthly knows who it is talking to.
  • The family members you add, with their name, date of birth, sex and how they are related to you.
  • The reports, prescriptions, bills and vaccination cards you send, and the numbers and medicines Healthly reads from them.
  • Your WhatsApp messages with Healthly, so a question like "how many tablets are left?" has something to look back on.
  • Which language you prefer, so answers come back the way you asked.

Why it keeps them

To do the job you asked for: read a report, explain it, remember it for the right person, and nudge you when a test or a refill is due. Healthly also uses what it learns across many reports to make reading and explaining better.

Who can see them

  • You, and the family members you have invited to share the vault.
  • Healthly's own team, only when needed to fix a problem you have reported, and never to browse.
  • The services Healthly runs on: cloud hosting and storage, text recognition for scanned pages, and the AI models that read and explain reports. They work under contract for Healthly and may not use your records for anything else.
  • WhatsApp, which carries your messages. Messages to Healthly travel through Meta's WhatsApp Business platform and are covered by WhatsApp's own terms.

If Healthly ever works with other partners in a way that involves your information, it will be described on this page before it starts, and where the law requires your consent, Healthly will ask for it.

What Healthly is not

Healthly explains and organises. It does not diagnose, prescribe or replace a doctor. If something in a report worries you, the right next step is always a conversation with a doctor. In an emergency, call 112.

Children and elders

Profiles for children and for parents or grandparents are managed by the adult who created the family vault. That person is responsible for what is added and for who is invited to see it.

Deleting things

  • Delete a single report, a medicine or a reminder from the app or by asking on WhatsApp.
  • Remove a family member and everything filed under them.
  • Send "delete my data" and the whole vault, including your messages, is removed. Backups clear within 30 days.

Keeping it safe

Records travel encrypted, are stored in access-controlled cloud storage, and are reachable only through accounts that belong to your family. Access is logged. If something ever goes wrong, you will hear about it from Healthly first.

Changes

If this note changes in a way that matters, Healthly will tell you on WhatsApp before the change applies. The date at the top always shows the current version.
